Terms & Conditions
Scheduling: Each student is given a weekly recurring lesson time that takes into consideration the student and teacher’s availability, as well as the teacher’s driving route. If you need to change your regular weekly lesson time either permanently or just for a week or two, you must talk to your teacher first before booking a new lesson time. Once your teacher confirms a new time, you can go ahead and book it on the calendar.
Our calendar operates as an "open system," allowing you to view your teacher’s full availability, but scheduling is not on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if a time slot appears open, it might not be available because another student hasn’t booked their assigned time yet, or your requested time could create an awkward gap in the teacher’s schedule.
Rescheduling: Students must give 48 hours notice to the teacher in order to reschedule a lesson booking. Teachers are not obligated to reschedule a lesson that has already been rescheduled at the student's request once before. In such a case, the lesson will not be refunded, credited, or carried forward in any manner.
Missed Lessons: If a student misses a lesson without prior notice to the teacher, that lesson will not be refunded, credited, or carried forward in any manner.
For lessons in the student’s home, the student must allow a 10-minute window before and after the scheduled lesson in order to accommodate the teacher’s travel. For example, if the lesson is scheduled for 10am-11am, the student must be available from 9:50am-11:10am. For virtual lessons or lessons in the teacher’s home, a student’s tardiness of over 10 minutes without notice will be considered a Missed Lesson.
Lesson bookings are nonrefundable.
COVID-19 Safety Policies for In-Person Lessons:
1. As per CDC guidelines, masks are no longer required for in-person lessons. However, if either the teacher or student/family prefers that masks still be worn, all parties must respect this request.
2. If you have a fever or any symptoms prior to a scheduled lesson, you must notify your teacher before their arrival and the lesson will be rescheduled. Likewise, teachers will notify families if they have symptoms as soon as possible.
3. The teacher has the right to refuse service if safety measures are not followed. The lesson will not be refunded.
